Opalhouse Designed with Jungalow Fall Drop!
We’ve had some interesting weather here in Los Angeles this summer (a hurricane AND an earthquake on the same day, then some drizzle and the pinkest sky I’ve overly seen, punctuated by a rainbow!!). As we slip into September, it feels like transpiration is in the air. The leaves are going from tomfool tones to warm reds, oranges, and plane pinks. It’s a time when Mother Nature shows off her versatility, so it seems like the perfect time to share that our latest Opalhouse Designed with Jungalow hodgepodge has arrived!
This hodgepodge was inspired by the waffly seasons. We included nods to the winds of change, like the pinwheel motif you see on some of the throw and decorative pillows. The breezier nights and potation temperatures are a sweet reminder that we are getting closer to autumn. I don’t know well-nigh you, but I finger pulled to spend increasingly time at home during the fall. I think it speaks to our human/nature connection and how, plane in a modern world, we are still tied to the earth through the seasons and need increasingly rest in the fall (and winter) when it’s colder and darker outside. I love the idea of balancing what is going on outdoors with a warm, inviting, and jewel-toned indoor situation.
For me, fall moreover symbolizes a time of gathering. Connecting with loved ones, inviting people over for meals, and sharing in the zillions and slower pace of the season. Unshut hands are a symbol of all this for me (and this open-hand trinket dish is only $15!). I wanted to incorporate unshut hands as a diamond element that represents sharing and reaching out – something that I am excited well-nigh doing in the coming weeks. Unshut hands are moreover such a welcoming sight for guests in any space.
Vase | Large Hand | Green Marble Bookends
Slightly obsessed with this print on print situation. Isn’t it wondrous how the same print with just a variegated colored ground can squint completely variegated on the sheets versus the comforter?
I’m digging the way the IRL variegated leaves are speaking to the leaves in the patterned sheets – love when life imitates art! ;) And I can’t imagine a increasingly trappy home for this lil plant victual – the woven detail on this basket is next level!
Macrame Curtain | Quilt | Ceramic Garden Stool | Rug
This vase needs her own moment! The relief detail is so good! I love the textured, scrutinizingly vintage squint of this vessel and at only $30 – she is a steal!!
This pillow pile is giving tasteful texture, if I do say so myself. The embroidery, the ruching, the fringe, the scalloped edges, and the cutie patootie pumpkins – I mean, come on!
I can’t wait to hear what you think well-nigh the latest Opalhouse Designed with Jungalow collection (available exclusively at Target)! Drop a scuttlebutt unelevated or tag us in your fall haul on IG! #jungalowxtarget
